Washington University in St. Louis supports the use of WashU Sites by its community members as a way to facilitate online communication.
System and Data Protection
WashU Information Technology is responsible for operating IT services that maximize physical security, provide reasoned protections for IT systems from natural disasters, and minimize cyber security risks for university data and systems.
Private Use of University Research Facilities
Employees conducting business on behalf of Washington University in St. Louis have a responsibility to do so in a manner that is objective and ethical. The goal of all such business dealings must be to benefit the university.
Joint Venture
It is the policy of Washington University in St. Louis (the “university”), whenever engaging in a joint venture with one or more taxable persons, to take such steps as are necessary to ensure that the joint venture is organized and operated in accordance with applicable federal, state and local law.
Involuntary Leave Policy for Students
The primary goals of this Involuntary Leave Policy are to protect the well-being and safety of Washington University in St. Louis students and the university community and to preserve the integrity of the university’s academic, residential and administrative functions.
